But if you are planning on spending most of your time planted firmly on the ground as you dig overhand sets into your opponents’ knees again and again, with little need for sudden acceleration, then no.
That said, there are some great reasons why it might make sense for an avid or aspiring indoor or outdoor volleyball player to invest in a quality pair of basketball sneakers. In fact, many top-end volleyball players choose to wear them whenever possible.
